A highly Toxic blame culture which has no clear direction or progression. Poor leadership. Inept managers. All managers lacked basic skills to do their jobs. A lot of managers delegated most of their daily tasks to their staff so there was actually no need for the company to employ then, they literally would come into work to check their emails and go home and just cause constant problems amongst the staff. The SMT held constant meetings on how to cover up faults and problems in the company so the CEO was always unaware of the real issues, I personally sat in a few of those meetings. There actually was a generally consensus amongst the technical staff that the CTO didn't have a clue 99% of the time as to what was going on. There have been numerous times when a senior manager would sit there and publically humiliate someone for their pleasure and the whole office could hear including the MD and nothing would happen to that manager.
