Pros
I have worked this type of position for several years and for quite a few jobs including independent contractor gigs. I love this type of work, the energy and getting out there around people, sharing products, sampling and making a difference for the client.
The problem, amongst a few little things, is the management and corporate employees are very unhappy and seem miserable. I feel, along with other employees, that this should be a happy, fun environment to work in. Other companies that I work for are and we all support each other. At Premier it just isn’t like that. Corporate never once gave me any kind of positive recognition, when the client would. The is often criticism that it’s just not enough, when you know you did a good job. Other then that, if you can just push that aside and know you are there for the vendor and the customers, then this is a great job. A lot of fun energy if you know how to make it that way. It’s all up to you on this one.
