Pros

Management is highly motivated to be the best in merchandising efforts. All communication is done through iPhone which is provided by company. Places importance on integrity, and stress free work environment. Territory managers set their own schedules within defined company perimeters. Each day is different because you are visiting a different store with varying criteria. Travel expectation is reasonable... Attempts to assign stores within 1 hr of home. Job training is easy and comprehensive.

Cons

While travel locations are assigned to be within 1 hr of home, it is based on mileage not allowing for traffic concerns or road conditions. What should take an hour... May take 1.5 hrs depending on weather, traffic, or construction. No allowance is made for these. Auto allowance is not enough to compensate for vehicle usage, required insurance limits, and upkeep/service.

Pros

Ability to work independently and not be micromanaged on a daily basis. Able to plan out your travel schedule. Very nice leadership team and the company does what they can to help employees facing personal hardships. They do a lot to keep their regionals happy and they care about personal growth. Work life balance is very important for them. Paid time off during holidays.

Cons

Lots of travel, but you know that going in so you really can't complain too much! The most difficult part for me was finding good people to work territories that required a lot of driving but it's the nature of the business. I do feel like there was a lot of control at the home office pertaining to handling HR issues which has it upsides as well but I personally would have preferred managing those issues myself as far as corrective action and most performance discussions - I felt a lack of responsibility for my team almost. The home office wasn't great at communicating new policy role outs to us prior to employees finding out so we couldn't answer questions they had.
