Pros
The amount of technology that you touch and get to use. The learning curve required to help you advance technologically is the one reason I liked working here.
Cons
Although you get to learn so much on the job, you never really get to use it in a way where it benefits you. The only possibility for advancement after L2 is Senior Engineer which requires upwards of 60 hours of work per week, 24/7 on call and the incompetent NOC calling you all the time for things they should already know.. and your raise to a senior position is about 5-10% of what you're already making, which is very little to begin with, It's definitely not worth doing a Senior role here. If you're planning on advancing L2 this job is not for you, otherwise, you can stay there forever getting paid very little. Employees are treated like they're working in an IT sweatshop. The only benefits they provide are by a very small insurance company and has a very high deductible, or plans without deductibles are not covered by your doctor.
