Pros

My experience with Precision Neuro so far has been fantastic in many ways - Clear mission - patient-first approach to developing technology - Amazing team - everyone is an expert in their field, while being very helpful in supporting efforts outside of their immediate expertise. Strong communication skills both technically and socially. - Extremely productive even when the team spans four locations East to West Coast and has to work remotely - Respect for personal time and work-life balance - Support for personal professional growth - Compensation is competitive, especially for a start-up - The entire team makes sure you know you are greatly valued

Cons

- Challenges typically associated with early-stage start-ups - everyone needs to occasionally cover tasks outside of their expertise. Workload that can come in intense sprints. Temporarily work in small office spaces until the company scales up - Working in many time zones means scheduling can require some flexibility - Depending on role and location, may require traveling once or twice per month

Pros

Precision is building cutting edge brain-computer interface technology that will impact the lives of millions of people who are living with neurological conditions. This ambitious technology and mission are complimented by Precision's work culture. The people at Precision are energetic, kind, and compassionate making this work environment unlike any other company I've been apart of.

Cons

Precision believes in work-life respect, which may or may not come with balance. The work being done demands a lot of it's employees both in effort and time. That environment is not for everyone.

Pros

The company has a growing team of experts that can and does solve unique problems, with a highly collaborative problem solving culture. The mission and philosophy of the company (truly patient focused, balancing significant innovation with minimizing risk) isn't really something you can find elsewhere.

Cons

Growth at the company can present challenges like many others, and as problems and resources settle people still end up wearing many hats. Systems and processes to match our growth will eventually get there, but we're definitely in transition.
