Pros

Great coworkers and steady paycheck.

Cons

Many people resigned because of the 2022 reorg/restructure. With all the new people they hired as replacements (many inexperienced or lacking agency knowledge), keeping things moving properly has become such a huge weight and burden on the shoulders of those that have been at PE a long time. It has really started to impact my mental/physical health and I am (many of us are) simply exhausted. Leadership talks a great game when they preach a healthy work/life balance but when push comes to shove they have no problem expecting people to work above and beyond their limits. For example, every year there is a soft close between Christmas and New Year’s. Last year they took two of those soft close days away because of “financial issues”. Now they’re telling us that bonuses won’t be what we would typically expect because again our financial issues. Stop tossing away money on things like bonusly and airfare/hotel for cancelled agency meetings that no one wants to attend. You can only cheerlead and rah-rah for so long before people see behind the smokescreen and façade.

Pros

Unlimited time off, flexibility in schedule, great culture within the PM department, fully remote work, opportunity to grow within the company through promotions every 2-3 years

Cons

Very low pay scale. 40-60K a year is hardly a livable wage anymore. Promotions can take longer than needed and everyone is basically just doing the same job, just some have a higher title/pay. The late nights can be brutal. Staying on past 11pm on a Friday night, with no overtime.
