Pros

Flexible work from home policy for most employees, work can be interesting

Cons

We are hired to help pharma meet their business needs and nothing else. Some project leads will instruct researchers to cherry pick results to make them appear as good as possible, so the quality of research is definitely questionable. There definitely is some micromanaging and not a lot of freedom. Junior staff will do mostly administrative work, like copy editing and literature searches, so beware. Some managers seemed OK, but others would expect employees to work the entire weekend with no notice, for example. It wasn't clear that employees are respected here. The turnover here is also very worrisome. The most senior research staff here are simply the people who have stuck around the longest.

Pros

Unlimited time off, flexibility in schedule, great culture within the PM department, fully remote work, opportunity to grow within the company through promotions every 2-3 years

Cons

Very low pay scale. 40-60K a year is hardly a livable wage anymore. Promotions can take longer than needed and everyone is basically just doing the same job, just some have a higher title/pay. The late nights can be brutal. Staying on past 11pm on a Friday night, with no overtime.
