Pros
Good place for learning how to work with difficult populations (social service).
Cons
Shady organization. Senior management lack qualifications to run such an agency. Unprofessional staff all around. Most staff have only a high school education and lack the skills needed for woring with people. Mandatory trainings are almost always irrelevant to the type of work done at the agency. No room for advancement. Vocational department lacks resources to run a successful program. Poor benefits for employees. Agency does not cover health insurance for spouses and children - encourages employees to use goverment health benefits for children. Buildings are dilapidated and working environment is dirty and poorly maintained.
