      Pros

      Company that still values their employees and open to new ideas, concepts, continued education. Owner believes in building employees knowledge and allowing career growth. Ability to work with diverse industries and direct relationships with clients allowing you to nurture and build client relationships to better support and meet the needs of the client. Great work environment - old building with wood beams/exposed brick - restaurant in the building

      Cons

      Is having to take your laptop home at night to work on jobs outside of the 8-5 schedule when necessary a con...or is this the life of a recruiter?? :) Cons....still thinking....

      Pros

      Prairie is specialized in IT recruiting. The team and the owner are a technical staff with hands on IT experience. Some of the members of the team are from the development side, infrastructure, management or a combination of these skills. The team really understands IT and what candidates do and how they do it. It really sets the company apart from other agencies that don't have the same skill or experience.

      Cons

      Because the company is specialized in IT, the agency isn't able to help some of the clients with staffing needs in other areas. I'm not sure that this is really a con though since Prairie is a specialized firm. The team really knows what they are doing when it comes to technical clients and candidates. Stick with what you know!
