Pros

Best to learn the in & outs (in an OCD kind of way) if its one's first burst into the luxury fashion scene. Beautiful merchandise, displays etc

Cons

Super anal, ran in military style directives from Milan right down to how an inside cashier drawer should look like. Salary is disgusting for the majority of floor staff £17k start. Choice of senior management team has gone down the drain since 2012. Brand still appeals to the innocent outsider so once they are in things aren't as rosy as it seems. High staff turnover. Quality of floor staff has also dipped due to poor retention efforts. Other mind boggling observations: Visual Merchandising is done during operational hours in the presence of customers! Senior management goes 'shopping' selecting their wardrobe entitlement during peak hours & utilising fitting rooms.
