Pros
It helps to gain experience and connections. But nothing else other than that bare minimum.
Cons
Lot of work, Long hours, less pay (below par the industry standard), little to no incentive, won't even help you grow unless you are a pet of the management. Lot of micromanagement like a prison. High turnover of employees as well.
