Pros

-I truly enjoyed marketing and explaining Powerhive’s electric bikes. I strongly believe they are the best bikes I have ever marketed—an innovative product with a great business model. -The CEO listens to junior employees, which is rare and commendable. -My Marketing Manager was an amazing leader—supportive, professional, and great to work with. -The role allowed me to meet many people, some of whom are now great friends. -Salaries and dues were paid every month without fail and always on time. -Overall, Powerhive is a great company, and I will never forget how well I was treated during the interview process. It was rigorous, but I felt respected and valued in a way no other company has ever made me feel.

Cons

-No real career progression. I was promised a six-month probation leading to full-time employment if I performed well, but that never materialized. -Job roles and duties kept changing without clear communication. -No HR department to address concerns, leaving employees without proper workplace support.Accountant is not a HR. -Despite being given a consultancy agreement, NHIF and NSSF deductions were still made—something management was aware of but didn’t rectify. -Interns can be kept in the same position for up to 1.5 years with no clear path forward. -Some managers carry an inflated sense of self-importance, which affects workplace culture
