Pros

Work from home flexibility is beneficial.

Cons

They will micromanage you. Work-Life balance is terrible due to being required to work overtime to please clients without taking employees into consideration. CEO gets upset when you miss a phone call even when you're using the restroom. He can disrespectful and dismissive when he doesn't get his way.

Pros

A truly professional company with an intelligent and excellent staff. Not only has each person I've met been amazing friendly but many have gone above and beyond the standard to keep me informed. They treat people with respect that I haven't always received from other such businesses or professionals.

Cons

No negative experiences have I had.

Pros

I enjoyed working remotely. I enjoyed the actual work. One of my fellow drafters was competent and a pleasure to work with. The Engineers and IT were very good.

Cons

The owner openly boasted about how he deceived a potential client by having people he knew come into the office and pretend to be employees. He is deceitful and a total hypocrite. He says he cares about his employees but the company policies and benefits show the opposite. Can you imagine that he offers only 1 week of vacation - to people who have been in the Engineering field for 20+ years? His wife, the "controller" is a high and mighty, sarcastic and patronizing woman. No one in the company can stand interacting with her. There has been little to no work for months for one client and yet the supervisors tell the workers to continue to charge work hours to said client. Most of the supervisors have not actually done the type of work that their employees are doing. There is no practical understanding of what the job entails. They cannot possibly help resolve any issues that apply to the actual work. They claim to have standards and training, but it is virtually non existent. Anything provided is extremely basic and outdated and inaccurate. Most people in supervision positions have some personal tie to the owner. Often times it would take days to get a response from my supervisor. Disgraceful. Some people did little to nothing and we're not called out on it. Some people continually did what they wanted despite being told numerous times to do things another way. Yet, one drafter got called out and written up for minor infractions. Totally unfair. This employer is out of touch with his people and he just does not care because his priority is looking good and making money.
