Pros

The people who work here were great, other than the majority of managers

Cons

Where to begin, you are promised a fantastic wage and commission structure. You’re promised continued training. You’re promised you are a valuable member of the team. None of these things were even remotely true. Most managers were useless. I was never paid correctly even one of my 8 months at Power 21. One of the managers acts like everyone’s best mate but as soon as you don’t hit your targets for a week, you’re left in the dust with no help or training. Managers lie to upper management saying they’re doing all they can to help people meet targets so it’s your word against theres. The main problem with the company is that the managers are not paid an hourly wage or salary, they’re solely paid a percentage of the sales that the sales associates make. So if you have a bad week, they clearly take it personally and it’s a lot easier to hire other people and get rid of anyone underperforming as quickly as possible. I was on a performance plan and had to take suitable time off for a dependant passing away, the day I returned to work, I was let go for not passing my performance plan, even though I never even got the chance. When the issues were brought up to upper management after I was let go from the company I was told they would all be addressed but I doubt that. Overall it’s just poorly run.
