Pros

- Profitable company and decent compensation and benefits - Unlimited paid leaves and personal days - There are some very supportive and empathetic people

Cons

- Really lack transparency and lot of top down org and product changes. In every squad meeting the roadmap is something else because someone from higher leadership said something. - The managers are also under a lot of stress and are not able to provide any good guidance. Sometimes resulting in anger. - They talk about ownership a lot but you technically don't have ownership of the work you do and there are no systems or processes to support you. You have to figure out all this while following orders on the work. It should be the other way round. The processes and support systems should be maintained by leadership and us subject matter experts can have more breathing room to own and do our work well. My most time should not be spent in trying to understand changing timelines and teams and establishing communication. - While there are some supportive people, nothing really changes in the longer run. I was early very enthusiastic about certain initiatives and thought I had opportunity to work on and improve stuff but it has not been the case. Main concerns have not been addressed even after the 5th re-org in 2 years that I have seen. - Hardly any growth for new people. People who were here a while back climbed a lot and now don't give that support to new people to rise

Pros

Very positive and straightforward interview process. Best onboarding I've ever been a part of - I felt ready to sell immediately after Flight School. After my first 30 days, I'm even more excited to be here. The sales org recently went through somewhat of a transition period but things have leveled out and excitement is building around the new direction and product - the culture being built is excellent.

Cons

Internal processes are still being built out further to improve deal velocity

Pros

1. The work is timely, relevant, and consequential — sitting at the forefront of the tech industry with real-world impact. I really enjoy my job. The work itself is engaging — the day-to-day tasks, the problems to solve, the craft of actually doing the job. That's not something everyone can say, and it makes a real difference. 2. People make a meaningful difference. Day-to-day job satisfaction is largely shaped by the colleagues you work alongside, and I feel genuinely seen, respected, and valued. But beyond the professional — the relationships I've built here go deeper than typical work friendships. The people aren't just great colleagues; they've become real friends, and that kind of connection is rare and worth noting. 3. As a company transitioning out of the startup stage, Postman offers a level of access to senior leadership that's rare at larger organizations — along with the strategic relationships, mentorship, and perspective that comes with it. 4. The combination of Postman's growth trajectory, the opportunity to be part of building and scaling the company, along with the proximity to leadership makes this a compelling career move for anyone who wants to be close to what's happening in tech right now.

Cons

Postman is in an active growth phase — moving beyond startup mode and into scale, which naturally brings change and growing pains. That's common for any company at this stage.
