Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Met some genuinely good people along the way.

Cons

The company seems to be struggling to define its GTM strategy. It's often unclear whether the focus is Product-Led Growth (PLG) or Sales-Led Growth (SLG), and that uncertainty trickles down to the sales organization. Frequent leadership changes, including the departure of the GTM head, have only added to the confusion. The culture in Sales can feel unforgiving. Performance expectations change frequently, employees often feel expendable, and decisions around layoffs can seem abrupt. Rather than feeling supported, many people end up feeling like they're constantly under pressure. The newer sales leadership appears to rely heavily on frameworks and playbooks, but there seems to be a disconnect from the realities of selling in the field. Ground-level feedback doesn't always translate into decisionmaking. Morale has been declining, and it's worth asking why so many employees continue to leave voluntarily even after multiple rounds of layoffs.

Pros

There are no pros whatsoever at Postman. Any positive reviews you currently see on here are from HR and from people that HR actually asked to write positive reviews.

Cons

Zero stars. This place is a mess from the top down. Leadership loves to publicly berate employees and believes that will motivate them, there is no culture left, no partnership or collaboration at all between teams. It is truly a blame game at all times. I am seriously wondering how the CRO has managed to still be employed given that he has never made his number, is the most boring, dry and uninspiring person I have ever heard speak and has somehow managed to avoid interacting with sales and with customers for the 16 months he has been here. In three years, I never once had a career growth discussion with any of the 6 managers I was shuffled around to. New policies implemented make sure Postman is only catering to one type of employee and is not flexible for anyone that has any other responsibilities whatsoever outside of their job.
