Pros

There are no pros whatsoever at Postman. Any positive reviews you currently see on here are from HR and from people that HR actually asked to write positive reviews.

Cons

Zero stars. This place is a mess from the top down. Leadership loves to publicly berate employees and believes that will motivate them, there is no culture left, no partnership or collaboration at all between teams. It is truly a blame game at all times. I am seriously wondering how the CRO has managed to still be employed given that he has never made his number, is the most boring, dry and uninspiring person I have ever heard speak and has somehow managed to avoid interacting with sales and with customers for the 16 months he has been here. In three years, I never once had a career growth discussion with any of the 6 managers I was shuffled around to. New policies implemented make sure Postman is only catering to one type of employee and is not flexible for anyone that has any other responsibilities whatsoever outside of their job.

Pros

1. The work is timely, relevant, and consequential — sitting at the forefront of the tech industry with real-world impact. I really enjoy my job. The work itself is engaging — the day-to-day tasks, the problems to solve, the craft of actually doing the job. That's not something everyone can say, and it makes a real difference. 2. People make a meaningful difference. Day-to-day job satisfaction is largely shaped by the colleagues you work alongside, and I feel genuinely seen, respected, and valued. But beyond the professional — the relationships I've built here go deeper than typical work friendships. The people aren't just great colleagues; they've become real friends, and that kind of connection is rare and worth noting. 3. As a company transitioning out of the startup stage, Postman offers a level of access to senior leadership that's rare at larger organizations — along with the strategic relationships, mentorship, and perspective that comes with it. 4. The combination of Postman's growth trajectory, the opportunity to be part of building and scaling the company, along with the proximity to leadership makes this a compelling career move for anyone who wants to be close to what's happening in tech right now.

Cons

Postman is in an active growth phase — moving beyond startup mode and into scale, which naturally brings change and growing pains. That's common for any company at this stage.
