Pros

Honestly cannot say this company had any real pros. What was promised at the beginning such as work trips to meet clients in different countries, attending fairs was all lies and just talk.

Cons

Real start-up with 0 structure, no proper workplace where there was no catering offered or proper cleaning. I was offered the position to work as a Key Account Sales Specialist handling the larger clients without really having any direct prior experience to this role I took it on with belief that I would be able to get support with my onboarding. I initially applied to a more junior position in sales but when meeting the CEO during the interview he suggested that I would take on the more senior position. When asking about the onboarding, The CEO assured me that it could take up to a year to learn the insides and outs of this position as there was a lot to learn and many clients to handle. I was given little to no proper onboarding of this position by my manager. When asking questions about the role they did not have time to answer me so that I could grow into the role and work independently. One month into the role my manager took off on a 4 week vacation without handing over any tasks to me. I therefore had to ask another colleague at the office to give me tasks to do. When my manager then returned from the vacation he sent me a message at 9pm on a Sunday asking me to come in early to work on Monday without giving any reason. I came in early as promised and was told by my manager he was going to let me go as he blamed my performance and that we had a bad relationship. This came without any prior warnings or signs whatsoever. I had tried my best to learn as much as possible about my role, asked colleagues around me for help and was starting to get into the routines of the job. A few weeks prior to this, there was a free intern who had started in sales who would work in our department. After talking with my former colleague who got to stay, the manager had informed my colleague that he had to do some restructuring as there was a free intern who started and would work with them for 8 months. I had quit my former stable job to take on this position and this with huge regret. Really consider leaving your job for this company if you are not afraid of getting replaced by a free intern or fired immediately after you start. Also be prepared to receive a non-existential place of structure with 0 onboarding or support around you. Absolute worst experience of my professional career.
