PostNet International

Is this your company?

Good job for initial experience, but not one you want to stay at for long. - Anonymous employee PostNet International Employee Review

Pros

Great co-workers and the opportunity to work on many different marketing projects. It's a good place to get started and gain some experience. The location and office downtown was a perk. You get a paycheck every week.

Cons

As the location was downtown, they offered no compensation for parking or taking the bus. Starting employees were given only 5 days of vacation time. Not enough for a work/life balance. They were also not very flexible for taking time off to go to regular appointments (ie doctor, dentist) and you would always need to make the hours up somehow, even if you worked overtime the week before. Family members of the owners worked there and at times I was surprised with how disrespectful they would treat other employees. Lots of employee turnover. They liked to micromanage - they gave an hour break for lunch and 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon. You would always need to take your break during the specified time, or else.
