Pros

• Pay check • Near most trains and buses. • Plenty of eateries. • An amazing Creative Director who nurtures and supports creative staff.

Cons

• Poor upper management leadership. • With upper management allowing inappropriate behavior by both long time employees and clients, on too many occasions it created a volatile environment. • Upper management not outlining clear and concise objectives coupled with them constantly changing their minds. This mind set and lack of focus has created too many non-productive outcomes. • Poor management with their relationships in regards to freelance employees, vendors and publications. • Not utilizing their staffs strengths. Projects that could of been handled in-house were outsourced which created resentment and an overall waste of funds. • Not listening to staff in regards to decision making with matters of procedure. This mind set caused so much wasted man hours and money. • Terrible at following through with promises.

Pros

I appreciate the fact that they gave me the opportunity to perform my job to the best of my ability with the freedom to do it the way I preferred.

Cons

I found some aspects of the position to have too much pettiness when it came to the execution of tasks and the overall attitude of a direct supervisor.

Pros

It's a paycheck if you're unemployed. They are based in the Flatiron District, of course you won't be allowed out of the office to enjoy it but it's out there. (wait, pro or con?)

Cons

Abusive misogynists living in the dark ages who are also brothers are running their dad's company into the ground. Actually, it's in the ground already so I guess deeper into the crust of the earth, deep into the mantle and headed for the core of the earth. This bass ackwards 'agency' once was on the top of the Real Estate marketing arena fell behind when people started using email, websites and stuff like the Internet to communicate. When I worked there, they had three clients, and were desperately trying to move forward as a relevant agency. They managed to go through 13 digital marketing 'experts' in eight years, including hiring them in tandem so that they would go after each other. There are no women in management, and good luck being a woman with a child in the office. I was threatened to be fired for wanting to work from home because my son's babysitter was sick. It's 2016, grown women who do digital marketing can work from home and should be allowed to, especially if they are single parents. Wow. I was grossly discriminated against and made 25% less than my male counterpart doing the same job in my department. When I approached them about this, more threats of firing and deflecting. Way to discriminate guys! I've been in this industry a long time, never have I met two men with less integrity. I'm saying this about two men in advertising so.. that's pretty low, ey?
