Pros

The office location is a very open concept and inclusive space. It's near St. Laurent mall so, you are right near the O-Train, Via Rail train station and major OC Transpo transit lines. There are plenty of meeting rooms within the office space including a room that is designated for prayer, meditation or just a moment of relaxation. Management supports continued learning and career advancement within the company. Whenever a job opportunity opens up within Positive, they give the staff the option to apply for the position before it's posted anywhere. The flexible office hours make it easy for staff to coordinate appointments and family commitments. They also have the best office culture that I've seen. The company cares about their staff and is always working toward improving the day to day work environment.

Cons

There aren't many down times in terms of the work load. The work is consistent and sometimes you may feel a bit overwhelmed but since Positive is a startup, it's to be expected. Management is also pretty understanding about this fact so, if you let them know that you're swamped, they're always happy to help you prioritize your work.

Pros

Over the past 6 months the company has recognized my value and promoted me to a role that I have expressed great interest in. The work I experience challenges me and allows me to grow and learn. Working alongside Jason as his executive assistant, has been rewarding. He is easy to work alongside, patient and straight forward.

Cons

As with many startups, there is many growing pains. Often our roles are less defined and we may hop around depending on what is required.
