Pros
Leadership was alright, and the team was good as well. I felt very supportive of my co-workers and program director. They do have some good support group things that are required to do quarterly, to help you and your job. There is a lot of focus on self-care.
Cons
Issues with safety. The youth that are brought to the group home are often not a fit for the program, but they are unable to leave due to the system. You have nothing to defend yourself with and you just have to hide in the office when things get crazy. Sometimes, the support groups are impossible to get to due to time, and sometimes, the groups are boring and completely unhelpful. While self-care is a focus, they try for, the way their schedule works for full-time can be very counterproductive for that. It can be difficult to take time off, and you may need more time than what is offered.
