Scott, who owns the company, was always fair and supportive of me. I learned a lot while working for Portico that I have been able to apply to subsequent jobs. He knows his industry, which is a very distinct one. And he's an ethical recruiter. I've learned that can be a rare quality. He taught me that it is possible to work for a client and treat job applicants with respect and dignity without compromising one for the other. It's a good lesson.
