Pros

- there are always tasks to do, and rarely down times throughout the year - there is a lot to learn and a lot of ability to grow - the work is rewarding and challenging to keep you engaged - fellow coworkers are great to work with and helpful - pay is great the company acknowledges that the work is highly technical

Cons

- very serious manager problems: 1. there are too many managers 2. there are 20% good managers (i was lucky to be assigned to) and 80% very bad mangers 3. managers often delegate without knowing what is needed or what is going on and refuse to do action items themselves to help their team 4. managers will take credit for work that their employees do and claim as their own. 5. managers perception is that they disregard info on a project until it is convenient for them to get involved. - if you are a new engineer you will not get much guidance and will have to actively seek answers yourself - I would not recommended an office position to new engineers unless you are self sufficient. - the vacation system is archaic and needs updated or more days need to be added from 2 weeks
