Pros

Port is genuinely one-of-a-kind. The management layer is sharp and substantive.. they know how to set high expectations without losing sight of the people delivering against them. What stood out most: they create real space for employees to shape direction, not just execute it. I've seen people take ownership of initiatives, grow into new roles, and build things they're proud of. The employee-manager dynamic is the best I've experienced in my career. The company genuinely prioritizes employee wellbeing and holds the day-to-day effort in high regard.

Cons

The company's recent fundraise is accelerating growth fast, which brings ongoing process changes that can disrupt operational stability. More practically: Port runs heavily on Slack — to the point where the average employee can easily receive 100+ messages across various channels in a given day. The noise level is real, and it takes discipline to stay focused.

The last line of your advice stopped me: don't let process catch up and erode what makes this place work. That's exactly the tension I think about. The Slack noise is real and we know it, we are growing fast and need to adjust communication. The trust and the genuine investment in people here are things we're going to protect while we scale. Thank you for putting it that way. Zohar (CEO)

Pros

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and hates being put in a box, Port is the place. You get to touch so many different areas of the business and constantly learn - there's no "that's not my job" culture here. The technology is genuinely cutting-edge and the company is AI-first, not just as a buzzword. Business is growing fast, which creates real career opportunities. The culture is inclusive, open, and respectful. People are kind to each other and you feel like your voice matters.

Cons

There's so much to do and not always enough hands to do it. The pace is exciting but the company needs to keep hiring to match its ambitions.

Pros

I love working at Port! It embodies everything I love about being at a startup. Every action from each team member has an immediate impact, and I truly feel like I can move the needle. I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated. I really enjoy my teammates and the company culture. Yes, not everything is planned out 6 months in advance, and sometimes priorities change and you need to adapt. But so does the market. At Port, I feel we’re agile and able to respond quickly rather than getting stuck in bureaucracy. Leadership is a message away and welcomes every employee's ideas and feedback. I don’t think many employees can say they have that level of access and direct communication at other places. It’s one of the things that makes Port such a special place to work.

Cons

I think working on a fast paced startup is not for everyone. Hours can be longer than your typical 9-5 and processes are still not fully mapped out. Can be frustrating but also can give you a chance to help map them out and have an impact.

"I feel seen, trusted, and appreciated" - that's exacly the culture we work hard to build every day. The chaos that comes with growing fast is real, and we know it, happy it feels like opportunity rather than something negative. Zohar (CEO)
