Populus is a family business and those that join are very much part of the family. The business is not a high street agency that micro manages but that of a business that offers independence, support and an opportunity to develop careers and is financially rewarding. Small team - very dynamic and loyal. Great principles and everyone lives by them. Work life balance fantastic. Great reputation with their clients. You decide on your career path and the company supports.

If you've been part of a business that micro manages and enjoy that aspect, then this business is not for you.

There is a small orchard at the back of the building with a couple of nice apple trees. The building is made of quite nice bricks.

The company is owned/operated by a husband and wife team and the atmosphere in the office can feel like Satan's broth if there has been any kind of disagreement between them. The MD does not tolerate sickness and on the odd occasion someone takes a day due to illness, they will return childish silent treatment and furious eyes of disapproval. The company is built on 80's style sales techniques (which didn't even work in the 80's) from the Ladybird book of business development and for such a tiny company, seems unable to change to adapt to the modern world. Staff don't tend to last long with the company due to the atmosphere and the company's inability to deliver on goals and promises to staff. I would air on the side of caution with this one.......
