Communication is nonexistent, and you are expected to be the Director of Lifestyle/Vice President's mind-reader.
Huge turnover rate within all aspects of company.
Nepotism - an excellent employee was let go so that the CEO's brother-in-law could keep a job there.
Cannot keep a property manager at one location for more than 6 months at a time.
Employees are overworked, micromanaged, and under-appreciated.
Lifestyle employees are held to a much higher standard than any other type of employee, and expected to do everyone else's jobs on top of their own. You are expected to be available at the drop of a hat, including weekends or scheduled vacation time. If you don't answer your phone, expect a flood of calls and text messages from the VP harassing you about non-urgent matters until you can be reached.
No room for advancement in the Lifestyle department. Even if there were, it wouldn't be worth the stress of having to work in the corporate office every day.
And unfortunately, the list doesn't end here.
