Pros
There is a ton of room for growth here and someone with very little experience can find themselves in a senior position within 2 or 3 years. That being said you will probably have at least 2 or 3 complete emotional breakdowns during that period. It was not uncommon to find someone crying at their desk. Other Pros: -Dogs in the office -Coworkers are generally friendly and supportive -Management is friendly if you stay on their good side -The products are fun and interesting -You will never need to buy socks again
Cons
The core group of employees is very tight knit and very few "outsiders" have succeeded here. The turnover rate is high and if you don't fit in you will be pushed out. There is also an alarming lack of diversity here despite being located in one of the most diverse cities in the country. This lack of diversity further cements the cult culture that exists here. Other cons: -Low pay/ pay disparity -Lack of work life balance -Never fully able to disconnect -Using vacation time is frowned upon -Lack of privacy and personal space -Lack of perks compared to other sales jobs -Lack of effective and decisive management -Lots of flip flopping on rules and policies -Many meetings that should have been an email
