The office is fairly nice with access to decent equipment. The fridge is usually stocked with La Croix.
Cons
This company is a straight up joke! During my time there I was assigned different job titles, but I was never actually trained for my job. My original boss was fired about a month into my work schedule and instead of giving me direction the owner continued to travel on business trips. I was never notified as to what my consistent schedule would be, what tasks I should take on, or even how to operate the equipment properly. The company presents itself as a “fun” millennial” office space, where everything is relaxed and cool. When in reality they underpay their employees and try to make up for it with espresso and la croix drinks. The Richmond office reminds me of the creepy white family from the Purge: overprivileged, ignorant, and judge mental. The overall lack of communication and lack of respect for their employees this company has is incredible. Two months after I left POOLHOUSE I received am email from the Richmond owner requesting me to run an errand for him. His email was rude and abrupt and he didn’t even know I wasn’t with the company anymore.
