Not a ton of room for professional growth

Clean Safe place to work.

This is a privately owned company and is thick with Friends and Family working directly for Management. Not much room for advancement or salary increase unless you are part of the Friends and Family. There are pockets of people who are working 60 to 70 hour a week working on tasks outside of their department while there are others who have very little to do and spend more time in the gym then at their desk. Still others who are not even on site and no one has a clue what they do including their Supervisors, they have been told by the management team to allow these people to work remotely. Company is currently in panic mode with the failure of HRINY. COO is cutting heads of those that have crossed him while openly protecting family members and friends he has brought in and placed in high paying positions. Other departments are adding staff. Currently outsourcing call center and claims processing to India and Philippines. This is not a local company as they would like you to believe. HR is clueless, they set polices and then ignore them. If thinking about working here, think twice and wait for the smoke to clear over the HRINY debacle.
