Pros

Salary may initially appear higher than some comparable roles Opportunity to gain experience working with an international organization Exposure to diverse students and team members

Cons

Lack of regard for Philippine labor and tax laws when employing Filipino workers All legal, tax, and compliance responsibilities are shifted entirely to employees, with no guidance or support Payments are processed via PayPal, with transfer fees shouldered by employees Toxic and intimidating work culture marked by gossip and fear Management frequently speaks negatively about employees behind their backs Public reprimands during meetings instead of constructive feedback Micromanagement despite repeated claims of autonomy Leadership displays emotional volatility and unprofessional behavior Fault-finding culture where minor issues are magnified Ideas from employees are often dismissed or ignored over time High mental and emotional strain that outweighs compensation
