Pros
Pollock is a family-oriented company and it feels like a small business, even though there are hundreds that work here. Everyone is so nice and helpful. They have great benefits and actually care about their employees - if you tell your manager you have an issue, they will sincerely work to solve it. Pollock has a lot of fun company events, like a Thanksgiving potluck, or Easter egg hung and when the company is doing well, they share the success with everyone who works for them. I like they keep us informed of what is going on with the company in quarterly meetings as well, so we can all work together towards the success of the business. You do get to wear jeans on Fridays too!
Cons
Most employees work in cubicles, so sometimes it gets a little loud when you are trying to focus, especially if you are outside a conference room. Also, you have to wait 2 months before your insurance kicks in, so most people will have to go without or pay for a month-to-month plan during that grace period. You also have to wait 6 months before your 401K begins as well.
