Pros
Opportunity to break out of marketing and into technical ecomm (if you want) since there is creative marketing work, as well as platform work being done in house. The platform (Spectrum) work is genuinely cool and interesting. Combining design with technical integration with many ecomm, CMS, and ERP resources for the customers. Very talented, experienced, and FUN team. If you're a greenhorn designer, dev, PM, or data engineer this environment is GREAT for fostering a better understanding and career growth. But also great if you're experienced as well. Great collaborative environment with a lot of opportunity for career growth. Great tech community outreach, and awesome regular team building activities.
Cons
It gets really busy for long stretches, and resources can be sparse at critical times. So lots of constant coordination is needed. Sometime long hours, so a good bit of stamina and patience is essential. This is most likely a part of any SAAS in start up mode, so it just comes with the gig.
