Pros
- Great coworkers who are passionate, talented and motivated but also don't take life too seriously! - Everyone is listened to regardless of role/seniority and if you say something it will be taken on board by the leadership/management team. - Cutting edge tech - Quality laptop with good specs - Great leadership who genuinely want to shake up the mortgage industry and help the customer. - Culture of wanting to do things properly and not cut corners - Technical debt is tackled when it arises and not just ignored - Good balance between the short term and long term and contrary to previous companies I've worked for there's no mentality of "profit at any cost" - Culture of constantly wanting to improve - Fully remote working if you want it. There's also an office in Nottingham city centre overlooking the square where you can go in as little or as often as you like. - A high level of autonomy and no micromanaging. - It's a small enough company that you can have a big impact if you want to and there's plenty of room to grow into your role and take on more responsibility (if you fancy it but you certainly don't have to).
Cons
It can be busy and I'd say the pay/benefits are decent but only average.
