Pros
Free lunches Lots of swag Nice office
Cons
The actual job is difficult and they expect you to perform at a HIGH level. They are not afraid to let any mediocre/hard-worker go. I saw so many people let go from this position if they weren't performing at 100%. The company is growing rapidly, and for some reason they let everyone go. They say you have unlimited PTO- however if you take time off you risk not hitting quota and as a result could get let go. I was relieved when I didn't work here anymore. I am a very social person who gets along with most everybody, especially in previous jobs. I have left all previous jobs with friendships intact. At Podium, there are many friend groups already established and very few people willing to step outside of them. When I left, I didn't have one person that I would keep in contact with despite me trying to reach out and develop relationships- even strictly professional ones. It was honestly very weird and I would never recommend anyone to work in an environment that they didn't feel welcome in.
