Pros

Not a lot good to say sorry. Young studio with directors that couldn't get promoted at Woods, even after multiple attempts they couldn't pass 360 review because no one below them could say anything positive about their leadership- not a single person. Previous colleagues of thiers have told me they have offensive sexist / racist nicknames for people under them.

Cons

I have seen the following in the Perth office: - Directors publicly bullying juniors till they breakdown crying and quit never to be seen again (this has happened more than once in the last two years) - Overt sexism. - Discrimination against those who can't always work overtime. (Most employees in the Perth office have to work late most days) - Culture of self preservation and blame game stemming from leadership. - Severely under resourced projects due to director greed and cost of dealing with the above, especially the cost of high staff turnover and associated training of constant new staff.

Pros

With more than four years at PLUS, my experience at the firm has been excellent. It is a large company with a multicultural and highly talented team, which gives great credibility and confidence that every project will achieve an excellent outcome. The supportive team and leadership encourage you to bring out your best, helping you quickly develop the skills needed to grow your career. PLUS allows employees to manage their own time at work, trusting each person to take responsibility for delivering results and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. PLUS is a safe and positive workplace where the office culture is shaped by the people who work there, creating a friendly environment with plenty of opportunities. The directors are always supportive and provide guidance on how to grow in the field, while also paying attention to every detail that helps you perform at your best.

Cons

The firm is currently located in Northbridge. Relocating to the CBD could improve its positioning and visibility while still maintaining a central, convenient location for employees.

Pros

Supportive and experienced Directors that lead from the front lines, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. They balance business demands with empathy and genuinely care about their staff. The Perth Studio has come a long way in 8 short years and is a testament to the leaderships commitment to doing good work and investing in staff. Career opportunities and diversity of projects. If you are willing to work hard you can go far.

Cons

As with any fast growing company there is a period of adjustment and adaptation that can require resilience from staff but the reward is worth it. The nature of the industry can require long hours but they are not an expectation placed on people as others have stated.
