Pros

Most of the people you work with are great. Work life balance is OK. Benefits are good.

Cons

3 layoffs in 7 months doesn't look good when the ELT keeps saying they're looking forward to the future after each one. And then some of those positions are opened up and given to people outside the org. Lower and middle management definitely have their own agenda due to the stresses put on them by the uppers. I've been pulled out of several territories I was succeeding in so others who were already successful could shine more. Placed in struggling territories in the name of opportunity and being a veteran on the team. Moving up as a BDR is almost impossible if you're not in the top 10% being groomed by the leaders.

Pluralsight Response

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t had a positive experience during your time at Pluralsight. I acknowledge the company has been through a lot of changes recently and it’s been a challenging time. Like many SaaS companies, economic uncertainty has indeed had an impact on our business but we’ve also had inefficiencies inside the company that we have addressed to hold everyone, including senior leaders, accountable . Ensuring that our team members feel supported in their roles is important to us and I encourage you to talk with your leader or your People Business Partner about what will help you succeed in your role. I hope you were able to attend our August Town Hall where Greg and Bob mapped out some exciting changes and updates for the future. I believe there are positive things ahead for Pluralsight and I hope you stick around to be a part of it. -Will
