Pros

-Good Salary -Learn a lot in little time (especially if you are junior), especially in the analytical scope

Cons

-Manager was awful, lie constantly, bad treatment of consultants (especially juniors). I talk to the director about it, nothing changed. -Tried to push me to make the client sign for deliverables we didnt do -Few opportunities to manage important meetings with the client, most was done by the manager and diretor. Junior consultants will have travel to know how to do it with little exposure -Not transparent at all, salary, perdiems, working visas, travels, etc. -Awful culture against women. I was told directly they wont get a women in to the team, because she was a women and they will cry or crumble under pressure

Pros

Great Company, Very Progressive and all suggestions matter, very low bureaucracy

Cons

Unfortunately not a fair distribution of clients, smaller clients need more attention and should be evenly spread out

Pros

My first day at Plexus the president called me in for a meeting to not only tell me about the company and current projects but also because he genuinely seemed to want to know my strengths and goals. Even though I was fresh meat, I really felt like my strengths were taken into account when assignments were given. I think that because Plexus puts so much time into each employee, its output is of higher quality than that of other firms. Compensation was competitive, with bonuses always coming when I least expected! There are not a lot of paid sick or vacation days, which could be a problem for female employees looking to get pregnant. That said, when I was dealing with a health issue I encountered only flexibility and understanding from Plexus. DC office is quiet and small. Very polite, even under tough deadlines, and little to no gossip. Consultants and management all at different phases of life so little personal conversations but I still felt close with my coworkers. Great location, easy to meet up with friends after work or get drinks with colleagues.

Cons

A number of other reviewers have commented on the size of the Washington office. It is true that there are often only a handful or two of people in the office at any given time, but that didn't bother me. There was great flow and communication among those who were in and the quiet was REALLY helpful for focus. Also, even though the office could feel empty some afternoons, I was still in constant communication with colleagues as many of the senior consultants work internationally or are contracted from other cities.
