Pros

Great snacks, a select few employees are really amazing and I'm lucky to work with them everyday. Please note, most of the good reviews on here are about other offices, not NYC.

Cons

Lack of direction, high turnover rate, toxic HR. Product is sub-par with NYC standards. Playbuzz has a history of hiring and laying off people within a few months (or even days at HQ). They've let about 40% of us go over the last 6 months. It's common practice to lie to potential employees during the hiring process about the state of the business before bringing them on-board. Due to chaotic lay-offs and firings, we have residual fear of being let go nearly everyday. Claims to have amazing benefits and cover health insurance, but copays are $30 and $50. Israeli management working in the NYC office doesn't really talk to us Americans. It's weird as we all sit in the same room (it's not that big of a room).

Pros

I was at PB for almost three years, watching it growing from 45 employees to 200+. It's a real honest and welcoming place. All the executives (even the CEO) sit with us at the open space, fly economy class and in general are accessible and friendly. The company is killing it, works in a very fast paced, can be hectic at times, but generally very productive and fun. I miss you guys! Will definitely apply to work there agin if I move back to the states

Cons

Nothing much. If you are here to learn and evolve (I got promoted after less than a year!), it's a place that's very open to changes and consideration. Some people did find it disorganized at times, I personally didn't
