Pros

Work from home is available. Snacks and coffee are free.

Cons

Lay offs are consistent here. Employees are not valued - they burn them out with too much work and then get rid of them. Everyone else has to pick up the work as it doesn’t go away. Feels like all they are interested in is the money. Management/VP/C suite do not care and do not spend any time with the employees to know what is going on. High turnover with them too - but most need to go. Looks like they do not not know what is going on and managing with a trial and error outlook. Management intimidation and abuse of the workers is rampant.

Like many companies, we recently had to make some extremely difficult decisions. These were not taken lightly and we did everything we could to take care of the impacted employees during their transition, including providing extended severance and medical insurance benefits. Exciting company culture and fast paced. Management wants their employees to succeed and thrive.

Cons

Some leadership changes towards the end of my work there, but it seems like that has been smoothed out.

Pros

Remote or Hybrid work schedule, if you live outside of the city limits. Unlimited PTO policy, but is PTO ever unlimited.

Cons

There is not much room for advancement, if you’re not connected. Most of middle management and above are not POC. All the strong POC leaders were here today, gone the next day! The staff is overworked and underpaid. Only way to receive a higher salary is to resign and reapply. I survived a few CEOs, and once this last one came in all the tenured staff were being let go. Normal, if a new Executive comes in but there people were 15+ years in. This new PlanSource does not seem as if it cares much for their employees. Most of the workload is being outsourced to India. I’ve seen good, hardworking dedicate people get axed during my time! Not sure they’re invested in retaining good talent! Definitely a swim or sink culture, You will not get much help with learning the Benefits Admin system. It’s sort of a self-guided dive in approach.
