Good training. Stand-out is 'Power, Privilege and Bias', designed by Head Office and offered to every member of staff at regular intervals. Helps create an aware and inclusive workplace. Great work/life balance

There's only so much that can be done to be feminist, anti-racist and inclusive within a typical NGO structure. Internal politics, slow processes and general fear of embracing quick change that you find at most, if not all, medium sized NGOs. Limited development opportunities outside of your immediate role... very much charity sector.
