Pros

Previously, the company provided a good work-life balance, but nowadays, only favored employees receive the ultimate work-from-home benefit, while others are required to return to the office. The entitlements are satisfactory, and the systems used are state-of-the-art.

Cons

The organization has tolerated and even covered up instances of bullying, placing employees in roles that do not align with their skills or knowledge. There is a significant misuse and exploitation of capable staff members who possess the appropriate education, knowledge, and skill set. The corporate culture is detrimental, with senior management from banking backgrounds lacking an understanding of the disability sector, thereby undermining the company's culture and mission. This environment has led to staff burnout and the overutilization of customer NDIS plans, coupled with a lack of discernment in hiring practices. Talented employees are mistreated, while poor behavior is often rewarded. on top of this, they don't honour choice and control of the PARTICIPANTS.

Pros

- Modern office environment - Some team members were genuinely kind and trying their best under pressure - Can be useful as short term experience if you need immediate work (via agency hire)

Cons

- Constant hiring of large batches of temporary agency contractors, then contracts often ended early depending on business needs - Felt like the business knowingly overhired staff and treated contractors as disposable - Clear divide between permanent employees and temp workers - Temp workers were openly excluded from workplace events like the Christmas party unless they were especially close with management - Workplace culture felt toxic and unsupportive at times: lots of gossip, arrogance, blame shifting, and very little collaboration between teams - Frontline customer service staff regularly dealt with distressed and vulnerable NDIS participants/families without enough support or proper communication training - Phones were nonstop with frustrated callers which created a stressful environment all day - Leadership felt performative rather than genuinely invested in staff wellbeing. Constantly engaged in unprofessional behaviours and conversations i.e talking about other staff in front of staff... - The Christmas party felt extremely extravagant and out of touch with the actual morale of the workplace
