Pros

Free breakfast and dinner. Monthly Incentive The leverage to fool people into believing that you work for an AI platform (not helpful for internal execution and performance team)

Cons

- No proper process is set for people - The company is focused on revenue and in turn, they exploit their human resources for more revenue - I and my colleagues in execution performance and client-facing team also work on weekends and late at night - No appreciation for good work but open humiliation for small misses - They called everyone in the office this march even though covid cases were rising, this resulted in almost everyone getting infected - Work culture is the toxic, abusive, and harsh language used on employees, seniors treat us like servants, they call us on random calls at odd hours without caring - Cheating clients and new joiners with wrong job descriptions and no visibility to clients on their actual results - We are always asked to make false plans so we can earn more money behind the scene - Senior managers keep a call at 7:30 in the night which goes till 2-3 AM and everyone is made to attend such calls. Then we have to wake up early whereas they come to office as per their own time, in turn disrespecting our time and freedom - Blame game culture for every mistake done, if you do not put blame on the client-facing team or execution team, you will be at a loss - They will create problems for you when you will be leaving by deducting the baseless amount from your salary - You are made to work even if you have taken leave, this is faced by the execution and client team the most - the seniors believe in this unspoken rule - avoid coming to the front line when the performance team and client-facing team are solving the problem and avoid facing the issue as they know that they do not have enough knowledge to be in that position and actually help their juniors - they hire any desperate people who are looking for jobs on less salary, and we have to handle such people as they don't know anything about marketing and still, they are forced to handle big big client

Pros

I worked at Social Hustle, which was acquired by Pixis. Social Hustle had an incredible team before the acquisition - Smart, driven people who genuinely cared about client outcomes - Strong culture and autonomy prior to being acquired - Pixis offers a compelling narrative around growth and AI in marketing

Cons

After Social Hustle was acquired by Pixis, the company I spent years helping build was effectively dismantled. Key issues from my experience: - Commission and compensation structures became unclear and inconsistent post-acquisition, with payments delayed or withheld pending shifting internal criteria. - Decision-making power was centralized, and teams that previously operated autonomously lost the ability to control outcomes they were still being measured against. - Earn-out and performance expectations remained, while the operational levers required to hit them were no longer fully in the team’s control. - Significant cultural breakdown following integration, morale declined as leadership, processes, and priorities changed rapidly. - The Social Hustle brand, systems, and team were gradually absorbed or disbanded, leaving little continuity with what originally made the company successful. From an employee perspective, it felt less like a partnership and more like a slow unwind of a company that had taken years to build.
