Pros

• Linear approach to feedback - unlike some of bigger Beauty Brands I’ve worked for I’ve found with Pixi being a smaller family owned business that they really appreciate constructive feedback to support the overall business performance • If you’re a hard worker with ambition and drive your possibilities are endless for promotion and movement not only within your own department but the business overall • Great sociable office environment in central London

Cons

Ever an optimist I don’t really have any cons more some FYI’s to ensure you and the company are a good culture match • If you like set structures as well as job roles and responsibilities this might not be the company for you as due to being a smaller family run business from time to time you might be required to support across departments to ensure the business runs efficiently. However I see this as a great opportunity to learn new transferable skills!

Pros

Pixi products are great and you get a great discount

Cons

1. Doing the job of 2-4 people by yourself 2. When you have to stick up for yourself because you’re drowning they said you’ll have a tone 3. Instead of sitting down with you and flagging this to you they end up just letting you go 4. They’ll also do big department lunches and single ONE person out and say “they didn’t realize you weren’t there” 5. You think you can go to HR and things might help but turns out it does nothing 6. Once in a meeting it was said “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side” saying we should stay at least 6 months before we have it figured out etc - but can’t sit down with you and maybe give you a warning? 6. They’ll promise you a certain salary only after you completed a certain amount of time (aka because they know they have high turnover)
