Pros
Some nice coworkers, sometimes score free tickets for nights you're not already working
Cons
Where to begin... now to be fair, I was employed with the team prior to COVID. It is very possible that some things have changed for the better since then. The team was a nightmare to work for though when I was there. You get paid little to nothing, unless you're in management and are expected to work incredibly long days/hours with nothing in return other than being able to say you work for the Pittsburgh Penguins. I made $21K annually (before taxes) & I brought the team $300,000+ in total ticket revenue in less than 2 years time... you do the math. Oh, I've also never had a worse manager. She provided me little to no direction upon starting and she had no idea what she was doing. Half the time I would turn around to her cube to see her online shopping... she was hired when Sid was drafted so she just rode his coattails all the way to the top!
