Low pay, but competitive for part of the country

Academic Advising is gratifying work. In this role, you assist in the development of young professionals and lead students through an important chapter of their lives. Tuition waiver for one course per semester. The entire staff is intellectual.

The pay for staff in public higher education is offensive. Underpaid for an incredibly visible job that directly impacts retention and institution satisfaction.
