Pros
Everything that I consider important is better than I hoped for, and when I talk about my job to friends and family they are always surprised at how good things are it Pitch. The people are the main thing that continues to impress me - there isn't a single person I've met or worked with at Pitch that isn't amazing. Every one has been excellent at what they do, cared about their work, and been compassionate and kind. Everyone is engaged and helpful, and there is a very strong culture of appreciation and support. Communication defaults to being open to the whole company, and the CEO and management go out of their way to ensure that everyone is informed and has a chance to provide feedback on company wide issues. Meetings are limited and public asynchronous communication is highly encouraged, which makes remote work across different timezones work very well even within a highly collaborative team. The product itself and the things I've been working on are very interesting to me, and things are organized so that it is easy to make sure that I am always working on things that I think are important. Each team has a lot of control over their upcoming work and individual team members are very involved in the decisions about what to work on next. The entire culture is also very good at taking care of employees - when people are not feeling good they are encouraged to rest or take the day off. We are expected and encouraged to take all of our vacation time and not to work extra hours, and to make sure we are disconnected from email and message notifications outside of our planned work hours.
Cons
I have no real cons - I'm going to have a lot of trouble adjusting if I ever have to work somewhere else.
