Pros

Excellent benefits, fully remote, fair pay

Cons

I felt discriminated against for reasons outside of my control. I reported that experience to my manager and lead many times and my complaints were never taken seriously. The company claims to value diversity of backgrounds and perspectives; in practice, they do not have mechanisms to safeguard against discrimination unless you're prepared to get lawyers/HR involved.

Pros

PERA is a nice benefit

Cons

The company feels like it’s on a significant downward trend. Career advancement opportunities have been laughable for quite some time, as it clearly ends up being a popularity contest. Positions promised end up going to contractors as the company is now solely focused on contractor hires rather than switching FTEs to these positions, so they don’t get posted. HR is completely out of touch and disconnected - our last company meeting and an impromptu forum had the same sentiments as the responses during an emotional shift seems callous and rude. For a company that prides itself on employees first, it seems to not care about its employees. While there are programs to help gain insight into other departments, they end up just wanting to put you on loan to these other departments for assistance, rather than an actual career development plan. This constitutes split time - no pay increase or additional benefits for straddling two different departments. It’s frustrating to feel like you’re giving it your all when it is then disregarded.
