Pros

-If you have no experience and want to get your feet wet with research -You can get offered employment within 2 hours of interviewing with them. -“Job security” because they assign the project coordinators more clinical programs than they can manage -Tacos every Friday

Cons

-You are pushed to constantly enroll and screened to focus on quantity and quality of your work ethic will diminish. This includes coordinators, research assistants, lab staff, and investigators. -As an employee you should be comfortable to approach and address your concerns but when you do it’s directed in a negative manner. The management team nor HR will take it as advice and listen to their employees. -Some employees are terrified to address their concerns because the fear of losing their job. And the ones that do are deemed unable to handle their position. -Turnover rate is very high including employees who have walked out on the job. They have lost so many well versed and EXPERIENCED study staff members that have been in this industry for 10 plus years. -You can be employed with them for YEARS and not get a raise or an evaluation. How are you to know what your strengths and weaknesses are to improve? -Your schedule will be full of patients but it’s not enough time in a work day to complete the project management of your overloaded trials. You get written up for falling behind. -If you resign your employment with them and choose not to take their counteroffer, management will not speak to you the remaining two weeks. They will not speak to you or even wish you the best. You will not be given a going away party. -There is no quality of life at the office or home life because you are always constantly worried about your job. -If an employee provides a two week notice and a work reference is required, management will not provide a professional about work reference. This can cause someone not getting hired no matter how hard they worked for Pinnacle. -Management is very young and poor. They need to hire a third party advisor to revamp and make changes. There is so much potential for this company. The success and failure of an organization and its employees come from the top.

Pros

The atmosphere is enjoyable. Everybody got a long. The managers did not micromanage unless maybe there was an audit was coming up. Pay was great for the work that was expected. Benefits were good. The hours were steady and hardly had to stay later than expected.

Cons

Not much for cons except maybe the workload can be deafening if you are not one who is super organized and good at multitasking.

Pros

Great coworkers and interesting job with many unique challenges every day for people who enjoy problem-solving and patient interaction.

Cons

Very high work load and stressful circumstances that just come with the territory. Opportunities for lateral growth are highly dependent on willingness to relocate.
