There are no pros to working here.

PIMS is a disturbing work environment and I would literally never recommend working here to anyone that I know. You would think it is a start-up based on the way the office looks, but NOPE they've been around for 30 years, they just don't care about having a nice work environment for their employees to work in. There is zero flexibility to work from home and you will likely work far over the normal 40 hour work week. The people are very nice here, but the entire company is run so unprofessionally. It is shocking they are still in business. It is impossible to have any sort of work-life-balance if you work here, and that is because PIMS doesn't care about if you stay or not. They can find some recent graduate to take your position and work them till they burn out too. Not to mention, you're basically free labor that how low they try and pay you.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Avoid this place at all costs. Everyone who currently works there (there’s a small team of people) has worked there for a few years and they are very cliquey and don’t want people to succeed or to help out. Theres absolutely no training when you start and they expect you to just hit the ground running

Over the past 2.5 years, we’ve implemented a robust and fully documented onboarding and training process across all roles. This includes weekly check-ins with managers and active leadership involvement to ensure that new hires are supported and empowered from day one. We remain proud of our commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining a collaborative environment. Our overall turnover rate is under 10% and within the department mentioned, there’s been only one departure 18 months ago, for personal reasons. We’re always evolving, and feedback plays a role in that process. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify how our organization continues to grow.
